What is structured cabling?

Structured cabling is a universal interconnection for high data throughput. Such cabling allows us to use all the possible types (protocols) for data transfer. In practice it means that the owner of the network may easily make an upgrade to a modern solution and use multiprotocol networks. Another advantage of structured cabling is its transparent and clear layout that allows easy expansion and changes in the network configuration.
